Today we begin!
Hey all, My name is Simon.
So my wife and I have been dealing with the news that our son Connor has Autism.
He was diagnosed in 2018 and we knew nothing about the condition. As we are slowly gaining knowledge about it and are starting to come to terms with the long and treacherous road ahead we are are finally gaining some momentum in getting the right support services and things he needs for his daily life.
This as many people with loved ones on the spectrum know is a dificult process, but one we will never give up on!
We feel so lucky to have Connor in our life along with his older sister Tahnaya, Brother Noah and little sister Breeana, we will get through this, Together, as a whole, as a Family.
Connor has an absolute passion for animals and a new found love for surfing which he accessed for the first time through the Ocean Heros group in WA.
Today we begin our challange to walk 10k steps each day to show our support for Autism research.
