About Walk for Autism

Step towards understanding and acceptance this May.

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues. By stepping up and walking 7k steps a day this May, you will be helping initiate positive change so those on the autism spectrum feel accepted and understood.

Studies suggest that walking benefits both physical health and emotional wellbeing, and this year, we want you to Walk for Autism YOUR way.

Whether you choose to walk 7k steps a day for a week, a fortnight, or the entire month of May, the funds you raise will help support Autistic Australians and their families at all life stages.

Go solo, or get your friends, family, and colleagues on board and step it out together in a team. The choice is yours!

Sign up now and you will receive a free welcome pack, plus a pair of awesome Walk for Autism socks.

To make it even more exciting, we’ve got a range of fundraising rewards, prizes, and badges up for grabs. Plus, you’ll have the chance to unlock seven unique locations on your community map as you log your steps and climb through the fundraising tiers.
