Day 31!!
Wow with the help of my team we did it!Wow
I haven’t posted in a while! Working full time, mum of 3 (2 neurodivergent!), overall chaos a lot of the time. I’ve kept track of my steps and noticed my fitness improve and I’ve lost 3kgs from mostly walking.Day 8 -13
I’ve been so very active with walking here there and everywhere. I’m enjoying getting outdoors. I’m starting to feel a little fitter than usual!!!Days 6 & 7
Sleep deprivation has hit me hard the last 2 days. I cannot stop walking though I’m in a roll. Little less yesterday but I think I’m averaging 7000 overall. So dedicated to this cause.Day 5
There are many challenges in parenting an autistic child. Last night was tough with a middle of the night meltdown. If you know you know. So today was hard being sleep deprived with work commitments. But still managed to get in 2 walks to achieve my goal. Fingers crossed for a good night tonight.Day 4
Exploring more parks today. Absolutely beautiful weather.Day 3
Busy Saturday with kids activitiesDay Two
Busy work day today but managed to get my steps in with a walk to school and then a walk to pick the kids up.Day One
Enjoyable Day OneI'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.
That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
