Walking for Carla – Walk for Autism This May 💙
This May, I’ll be taking part in the Walk for Autism, and for me it’s not just another event or challenge. It’s something deeply personal.
I’m walking for my sister, Carla.
Carla has shaped so much of who I am today. Growing up alongside her has given me a different perspective on life, patience, and love in ways I probably can’t fully put into words. She’s taught me more than I could ever teach her, and she continues to inspire me every day just by being herself.
That’s why this walk matters to me.
Walk for Autism is about raising awareness and showing support for people on the autism spectrum, and the families who walk alongside them every day. For me, that includes my family and especially Carla. It’s something that connects all of us.
I’m taking part, showing up, and doing my bit to support something that sits close to home. Every step is for her, and for everything she’s brought into my life.
If anything, I hope this helps start more conversations, more understanding, and more support for the autism community.
This one’s for Carla.
