The Batlle’s are walking 7k+ steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

Some of you may not be aware, but our son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. And whilst we would walk laps around the world for Luca any month of the year, we wanted to advocate and raise awareness for not only him, but for all Autistic Australians and their families this May with Walk for Autism. And we would love your support too!

We hold this cause so closely to our hearts, because we truly understand the challenges and exclusiveness Autistic Australians and their families face daily.

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges. That percentage is way too high for my liking, and that’s why we are doing this fundraiser for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated, and it will help deliver services that support Autistic people, just like our son, to live their best life.

Thank you so much!
