I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

This May I’m taking part in Walk for Autism, for me this walk is deeply personal.

I’m walking for my daughter, Ariana.

Being her mum has opened my heart and my eyes in ways I never could have imagined.

She experiences the world differently beautifully and with a brutal honesty that is uniquely her.

As she steps into her teenage years, our journey continues to grow and change.

With hormones and new challenges comes an even deeper need for patience, understanding, and love.

The kind of love that is fierce and protective.

But the world isn’t always built for Autistic children.

Many face challenges simply because society doesn’t always understand or support the way their minds work.

So this May I’ll be walking 7,000 steps a day to raise funds for Aspect.

(Autism Spectrum Australia)  helping support services, research, education and more inclusive environments for Autistic people and their families.

Autistic children deserve a world that meets them with compassion, acceptance and support not one that asks them to change who they are.

If you’d like to support my walk, I would be incredibly grateful.

Every donation helps create a better, more understanding future for children like Ariana.

Thank you so much 💙
