Maria Aura Delovino-Viloria

Day 6

Another tricky day with Day 2 of the little sister off from school unwell. Steps were achieved through  the usual active Mumma duties, going round and round in circles around the whole house, backyard, front yard, up and down our street and  school drop off and pick up.

Wasn’t sure if I was able  to reach my daily step goal but we managed to do it, finishing off with 11, 078 steps. Totally exceeding our 7,000 daily step goal. 💪😁🙏

Day 5

It was a tricky day with little sister unwell and sustained injuries from an accident.
Nevertheless , we smashed our daily step goal! 😊💪👍

Did you know?

Young autistic people often experience significant difficulties with some or all areas of executive functioning.

Approximately half of Autistics need help or supervision with
communication and self-care.

Trying to master the skills,  areas of self care, navigating around the challenges of executive functioning. Noah , drying himself after having a shower and being able to put on his shirt with minimal support.

Repetition.Consistency.Plenty of practice and encouragements, patience. Definitely, perseverance and sheer determination!  Our boy never seize to amaze us. 🥰

Day 3 and 4

Our Noah was so brave! 💪🙏💚😊🥰

We tried out doing the Brick pit ring walk for the first time as a family. This is very unfamiliar to Noah. Imagine, this structure is
towering 18 metres above ground, floating over freshwater wetlands. He did so well and  conquered his fears.

Oh did I mention that this is the most daily steps we’ve achieved  so far? 14,170 steps to be exact. Let’s GO!

Day 4 was a chance to do more errands and have a quick catch up with my parents, reconnect  and check in on them. 💚💚

Day 2

Clocking in some steps, while running errands and our usual weekly family grocery run.

We decided to make our steps count in Cabramatta.  One of our favourite family bonding is food tripping! 🤤😋

Then off to our usual dance lesson at our favourite dance studio. 💃🏻🕺👯

Day 1

Mummy Aura: Where should I start my walk today?

Olivia: Sydney Harbour Bridge

I never get tired of this view! 🥰
Lovely walk across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and  smashed my daily step goal, clocking in 10,102 steps! 😊🤗💚

I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

Welcome to my page!

Thank you for stepping up to support my efforts in Walk for autism 2026.

This most important cause means so much to me and my family. For those of you who don’t know, our son Noah was diagnosed with ASD Level 3 by the age of three. He is turning 12 this year.

This is my 9th year of participation, navigating and a decade plus of advocating. I make my every step count for our son, family members diagnosed, friends, and the wider Autism community.

How you can help:

  • By cheering me on while I make my steps count.
