Walking My Way for Autism 💚

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism this May, alongside Owen and Joey, to support my own mental and physical health and to raise awareness for a more inclusive world - one where autistic people feel accepted, understood, and supported.

As someone who is autistic, high masking, and late diagnosed, I grew up in a constant state of anxiety without understanding why - I just knew my brain was a little different. Living in a world that isn’t designed with autistic people in mind can come at a real cost, and it’s why around 70% of autistic Australians experience mental health challenges.

That’s why I’m walking 7,000 steps a day this May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Creating spaces where autistic people can be themselves - where clarity is kindness, communication preferences are respected, and acceptance creates safety - is so important.

Your support will help provide vital services for autistic people and their families, including earlier diagnosis, autism-specific education, research, and the creation of more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

If you’re able to donate, I would be so grateful. Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you so much for your support 💚
