I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

We’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism this May 💙
Please show your support as we walk our own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not always autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.

That’s why we’re committing to walking 7,000 steps a day throughout May to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Every step we take is for greater understanding, support, and inclusion.

This cause is very close to my heart. As most of you know, Elijah has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and some days can be harder than others. Navigating systems, supports, and services hasn’t always been easy, and I often think about how much a little extra guidance or early intervention could have helped along the way.

That’s why this matters so much. The funds raised will help provide earlier diagnosis, access to specialised support, autism-specific education, and the creation of more inclusive, autism-friendly environments for families like ours.

Elijah and I will be walking together, and we’re also inviting our friends and families—especially those who are on similar journeys—to join us. Because we are not alone in this 💙

If you’re able to support us, whether by walking alongside us or making a donation, we would be so grateful.

Please support our Walk for Autism and donate if you can. Thank you so much for your kindness and support—it truly means everything. Kylie & Elijah
