I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism 💙Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

I’m walking to support my beautiful boy Harrison and my incredible nephew Angus.

Harrison is a beautiful, resilient boy who navigates a world that was never designed with him in mind.

Harrison has Global Development Delay, level 3 Autism and is non speaking. He faces challenges every day that most people will never fully see or understand.

Can you imagine not being able to express yourself with spoken language and how much harder your life would be?

Or imagine not being able to have a verbal conversation with your child? Never hearing them say ‘Mum’.

This is why I’m joining this cause to raise awareness for families like ours.

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
