Walking so the next generation can advocate for themselves
I'm Jordan. I'm autistic. My son Will is autistic. Every day I get to show up for so many amazing autistic kids in my work as a playworker. Autism isn't something that lives at the edges of my life — it's right at the heart of it.
My biggest motivation is Will. I want him to grow up knowing that who he is deserves to be celebrated, not just accepted. I want him to be proud to advocate for himself and his own needs — and I want the world around him to be worthy of that pride.
