I'm walking 10k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians!
Hey everyone!
I’ve decided to join the Walk for Autism for the whole of May.
Being a parent of a child with Autism, watching your child face daily challenges and the constant struggle and frustrations they have. It is heartbreaking and you just wish you could take all the hurt away. Autistic people see the world in a different way, and they are amazing humans. Quirky, clever, funny and sweet. Awesome imagination and oodles of love to give. I’m still learning more and more since my daughters diagnosis in December and it’s amazing how far she’s come.
100?lieve, if you are going to support something, this is one of them.
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.
That's why I'm walking 10k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Thanks for reading and if you can donate, I appreciate it. If you can’t, I’d love it if you could share my post 💙
