I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism 💙 Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I’m walking for my amazing Angus, and for my beautiful nephew Harrison 💙
Harrison sees the world in his own unique and incredible way. He is funny, loving, and so deeply special to our family. But alongside all of that, autism brings challenges that most people don’t see—the daily hurdles, the overwhelm, the extra support needed just to navigate a world that isn’t always built with him in mind.
As his aunty, I feel a strong responsibility to stand beside him, to advocate for him, and to help create a world where he feels understood, supported, and accepted exactly as he is. He deserves every opportunity to thrive, and I’ll continue to be his voice in every way I can.
Autism doesn’t just impact one person—it impacts the entire family. The strength, patience, love, and resilience I see every day is something truly powerful, but it also shows just how important support services and awareness are.
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.
That’s why I’m walking 7,000 steps a day throughout May to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Every step is for a reason, and I’d love your support.
Your donation will help deliver vital services that support Autistic people to live their best lives. Funds raised can help with earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling, support research, and create more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
If you’re able to, please support my Walk for Autism and donate. It truly means so much to me and my family. Thank you 💙
