Goals for May

The last few months for Oliver have been a roller coaster. He formerly got his diagnosis of ASD level 3 (a process that can take a lot of time and effort) and has finally started therapy.

As I look to may for this challenge my goal is to push to hit this goal confidently. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated already before this has even kicked off (Sean, Jody, Kayla, Sonia and Kate) you are amazing.

There is plenty of ways you can help me during this challenge. You could join the challenge, donate yourself or even sharing this post could help support others! Either way, your support is appreciated particularly with this cost of living crisis we find ourselves in.

Thank you for helping me raise awareness and funds for people with Autism.

I'm walking 7k steps a day this May for Oliver

I’m walking 7,000 steps every day in May to raise funds for Australians with Autism, in honor of my 3-year-old son, Oliver, who was recently diagnosed with level 3 ASD. From the moment he was diagnosed, it became clear how many challenges he faces daily. Oliver struggles to communicate his thoughts and needs, and it’s often difficult for him to connect with others or fully be part of the community. Despite these obstacles, he’s trying his very best, and his resilience and effort inspire me every single day.

As a parent, I want to ensure that Oliver, and other individuals with Autism, have access to the support, resources, and understanding they need to thrive. Every penny raised will help provide vital services, therapies, and programs that can make a real difference in the lives of those with ASD. Your donation, no matter how small, will contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future for kids like Oliver.

Thank you for your support in helping those who need it most.
