Walking for Parker
As many of you already know, my youngest son Parker was diagnosed with level 3 Autism when he was not quite 3 years old. Parker is nonverbal, and struggles with day to day activities and necessities. Parker is a happy, sweet boy, who loves to do things all other 6 year old children like to do, he loves to dance, go to the park, play with his toys and his friends. Although Parker is making progress in leaps and bounds, he has been born into a world that doesn’t understand him. This May I will be walking 290,900 steps, one step for each autistic Australian.
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.
That's why I'm walking to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
