I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I have been blessed to have an absolutely beautiful little boy, Banjo who suffers from severe autism. Banjo is now 4 years old and a healthy happy little (BIG and very strong) boy. Life certainly has alot of challenges for Banjo mum and I. Mum and I seperated just over a year ago. Weekends are spent with me and through out the week with mum. Life is extremely busy juggling specialist treatments, doctors and paediatric support while trying to work full time. Mum and I are very lucky that we have a really good relationship with the sole focus being what's best for Banjo. We have alot of hurdles and even more to come but wouldn't change it for the world. For the month of May through out the week I will be completing my steps by myself but weekends will be done with my little man. I saw the walk for autism come across my page and it was a very easy decision to make.
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.
That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
