Introduction
A huge shout-out to Bree for connecting Nisharn and me with this incredible opportunity!
Despite it being 2026, recent experiences with some organizations reminded me that there’s still sadly a significant stigma surrounding autism. My son Nisharn was diagnosed with ASD in 2024 and, sadly, has faced some bullying and exclusion within the community.
To help bridge this gap and create greater understanding, we’re excited to invite our family and friends to join us in preparing for the 7000 Steps a Day Walk Challenge this May 2026. This event is not only about raising awareness of autism but also about supporting families like ours who navigate these challenges every day.
We would love for you to come along, sign up, and join Nisharn Singh’s team! Let’s walk together to make a difference, spread acceptance, and celebrate the amazing strengths of the autism community.
Get ready to step up, have fun, and be part of something truly meaningful!
I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.
That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
