I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians!
Hi, I’m Brooke, and I’m doing 7k steps a day in May to raise awareness for Autism, something very close to my heart. I was diagnosed with Autism at 29, and for most of my life, I didn’t have the support or understanding I needed to navigate the world around me. Not having that support from an early age has deeply impacted my mental health, leaving me to figure things out on my own, often feeling lost and isolated.
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to grow up without the right resources or understanding. But I also know that with the right support, those of us on the Autism spectrum can thrive, and that’s what this fundraiser is all about—making sure that others don’t have to go through what I did.
By donating you’re helping to raise funds that will go toward providing much-needed resources, support, and advocacy for people with Autism. My goal is to help create a world where individuals like me can get the support they need early on, so they can grow up feeling understood and empowered.
Together, we can make a difference and bring more awareness to the challenges faced by those on the Autism spectrum.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
Your support means the world to me.
