I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
As the parent of a child with autism, this is more than a fundraiser. It’s part of my everyday life.
Autism is a lifelong journey, and while it comes with incredible strengths, it also brings challenges — especially when support is so often out of reach. Right now, the demand for autism-specific services far outweighs the supply. Many families, like mine, face long waitlists and underfunded programs.
**Did you know 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues?**
Because the world still isn’t autism-friendly, too many are left without the support they need.
That’s why I’m walking 7,000 steps a day in May — to raise funds for Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), an organisation working to change that.
Your donation will help:
- Provide earlier diagnosis and intervention
- Support autism-specific schooling
- Fund research
- Create inclusive, autism-friendly communities
Please support my Walk for Autism and help make a real difference for Autistic people and families like mine.
Thankyou.
