I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

I’ve decided to take part in the Walk for Autism this May, and I’d love your support.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. Our family has been fortunate to access early diagnosis and intervention for one of our kiddos, and I can honestly say it makes a life-changing difference.

But not every family has that opportunity.

There are so many parents who are still waiting, struggling, or simply unable to afford the support their children need during those critical early years. And that’s what I want to help change.

That’s why I’ll be walking 7,000 steps every day in May to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) — helping more families access early support, education, and resources.

💛 Because early intervention can change a child’s entire future
💛 Because every child deserves the chance to thrive
💛 Because no parent should have to do this alone

A sobering stat — around 70% of Autistic Australians experience mental health challenges, largely because the world isn’t built with them in mind.

If you’re in a position to support, even a small donation would mean so much. Every dollar helps provide earlier diagnosis, specialised education, family support, and research to build a more inclusive world.

Thank you for supporting this cause — it truly means a lot 💛
