I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I’m proud to be taking part in the Walk for Autism this May, something that’s very close to my heart both personally and professionally.
Working in early childhood education, I see every day how important it is to create inclusive, supportive environments where all children—especially neurodivergent children—can feel safe, understood, and thrive.
Did you know that around 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges, often because the world isn’t always designed with them in mind?
This May, I’ll be walking 7,000 steps a day to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia), helping support Autistic individuals and their families.
Funds raised go towards early diagnosis, specialised education, family support, research, and building more inclusive, autism-friendly communities.
If you’re able to, I would truly appreciate your support. Every contribution makes a difference.
Thank you so much for supporting something that means so much to me 💛
