We’re walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
We’re walking for Xander 💙 — the most beautiful, kind, and fun-loving 4-year-old you could ever meet.
Xander (or “Xander Panda,” as his buddies call him) is non-verbal and has ASD Level 3. Despite the challenges he faces each day, he greets the world with a constant smile and a love for life that inspires everyone around him. He brings so much joy to his parents, family, friends, and his daycare crew. You’ll often find him happily cheering on the Brisbane Lions 🦁 or sitting back watching the F1 - or doing something uniquely Xander, like chewing on a tree or even a bee!
We’re walking to support Xander, and the many others living with autism.
We’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism and are proud to walk our own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families.
Did you know? Because the world isn’t always autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.
That’s why we’re taking on 7,000 steps a day throughout May to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). We’d be so grateful for your support.
Your donation will help provide vital services that empower Autistic people to live their best lives — from earlier diagnosis and autism-specific schooling, to research and creating more inclusive, autism-friendly communities.
Please support our Walk for Autism and donate if you can. Thank you so much 💙
Thank you for your brilliant donation
