Why I am fundraising

My daughter Hallie was born premature at 29weeks gestation, she was born via emergency cesarean, she was born not breathing. She fought so hard everyday for 2 months in the nicu , on breathing machines she would go from hi flow to low flow and on 3 different occasions had to be resuscitated. Such a scary time. She then struggled with silent seizures which fortunately she grew out of. From around 6 months old I noticed signs of autisim and by 4 she was diagnosed with Austism level 2. She calls it her tism power and thrives everyday with her therapy’s and all the help and support for children with autism is why funding for kids with autism is amazing for these kids to continue thriving in life with the therapy and needs .

I’m walking 5k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
