I'm walking 200km during the month of May to support Autistic Australians

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism! I will be walking 200km throughout the month of May to raise awareness for individuals with autism and mental health issues they face. As most of you are aware this cause is very dear to me and without the amazing resource now provided and continuous research begin provided, my daughter may not of been able to continually thrive in a neurotypical society.

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues. Studies have found that autistic female had an 83% increased risk of self-harming compared to non-autistic while for males, the increase compared to non-autistic individuals was 47%. Individuals with autism are also commonly diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, Depression and/or Anxiety.

That's why I'm walking 200km throughout the month of May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?

Your donation will help deliver services that support individuals with Autism to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, support via therapies, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments, plus education classes to help family members assist their loved ones.
