Parker's People

We’re walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

We’re walking for Autistic Australians like our mate Parker, who just happens to have the best sense of humour and keeps us all laughing! While the world is still learning more about autism, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have an early diagnosis for Parker and access to supports that are already making a huge difference in his life. Surrounded by family and friends who adore him, he’s just started school, bringing a whole new set of adventures (and stories!). By taking part in this walk, we hope to raise funds to help other families access early diagnosis, specialist support, autism-specific education, and to create more inclusive, understanding communities, so every child like Parker can thrive.

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.

That's why we’re walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support us?

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Please support our Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
