Megan Forbes

Thank you

I would like to take a moment to thank the beautiful people in our world who have taken the time to sponsor me on my Walk for Autism 💚🧩
I'd like to express my most sincere gratitude, I know we are living in a time where every dollar is counted and every dollar is allocated, so when I see a notification that this special foundation is getting a valued donation by the people that love me and my beautiful boy, I feel seen more than I can explain. Autism can be loud but it can also be invisible, it can be big smiles and happy dances but it can be tears in the driveway that no one will ever see. A lot goes on behind the scenes to support those in our community just to get through each day, but the mental health element for those diagnosed and those supporting them is often lost among the care.
I'd like to acknowledge how seriously I am taking each donation. I am pledging to get 7k steps more than my organic movement and daily step count. Clocking over 96k steps of the 217000 month goal in the first 5 days of the challenge.
Thank you for those cheering me along, your kind words, donations and love are such a blessing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Please support me support Autism 🧩

When my baby was diagnosed with Level 3 Autism,  I was blessed with a community of support, both hands on and emotionally; not everyone, families, nor those with a disability are so lucky to have school support, early intervention, family and a community. I am walking to raise money for Autism networking focusing on ongoing support and mentorship.

It'd mean a lot if you would make even a small donation. Every bit helps.

I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges.

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
