I’m walking this May to support Max and all other Autistic Australians
Autism is something very close to my heart.
Our GP picked up that Max had a delay at 18 months old and
shortly after received his Autism diagnoses.
Max's current diagnoses is Level 3 Autism, he is also non
verbal and has an intellectual impairment as well as severe social and
emotional delays.
Since his diagnoses Max attends multiple therapies every
week just to help him cope in a world that is not built for him and every day
is a struggle for him, especially lately.
Medications that once helped no longer do and the new ones
we try make things worse.
We continue to try every day to make the world a better
place for Max and hopefully by doing this I can raise more awareness around
Autism.
My hectic schedule with Max doesn't allow me to do 7,000
steps a day, but I have committed to 3,000 a day and who knows maybe I'll get
more done as the month progresses.
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated, but if you are unable to donate then please just share my page.
Thank you so much!
