My walk for autism challenge
Hello, I am doing this challenge for a second year in a row throughout the month of May. I am doing this challenge because I am passionate about raising awareness but also acceptance for people who have autism.
As an autistic individual myself, the road hasn’t always been smooth and I have had a lot of obstacles in my way. Unfortunately, I like many others on the spectrum have to navigate a not so autism friendly world on top of an autism diagnosis.
All of us in the autism community deserve to have our voices be heard.
I have always believed in being the change you want to see and by me doing this challenge, I am doing just that.
By supporting my cause you are helping me to:
- Raise funds for aspect and other organisations to do more autism research
- Get more accommodations put in place for people with autism.
- Raise awareness and acceptance for people with autism
