Jennifer Mclean

I’m walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

This May, I’m stepping up for my second year of Walk for Autism.

This time I’m doing it not just for myself, but for the children in my life. I want to help make the world a better place for them — one where they can grow up without discrimination or unnecessary barriers, and with the same access to opportunities, health, and safety that everyone else experiences by default.

Because the world still isn’t very autism-friendly, around 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges. Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) supports earlier diagnosis, autism-specific education, research, and the creation of more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

If you’re able to donate or share my page, I’d be incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting me as I walk my own brilliant way 💙
