We’re walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

As members of Hans’ Village, we’re proud to be taking part in the Walk for Autism in support of our very own “unofficial Prince of Penrith,” Hans Talie.
Like many autistic people in Australia, Hans navigates daily challenges in a world that isn’t designed with him in mind. Yet he approaches everything with a smile, warmth, and resilience that inspire all of us.
Supporting Hans’ wellbeing and development has taken commitment from all of us, but it’s far outweighed by the joy he brings to our lives every day.
Around 70% of autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges, often due to environments that are not autism-friendly. We want to help change that.
This May, we’re committing to walk 7,000 steps a day to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Donations support early diagnosis, autism-specific education, vital research, and more inclusive environments for autistic people and their families.
Please support our Walk for Autism and consider making a donation. Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your brilliant donation
