I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
Riaan and I will be walking 7k steps/day in May in support of our daughter, Grace.
In 2023, life threw our family a bit of a curveball! Our loving, quirky, energetic 6 year old was diagnosed with several complex disorders. Autism being one of them.
Since then, we have surrounded ourselves with a wonderful team of specialists; engaged with multi-disciplinary teams for therapy and support; educated not only ourselves but our family and friends; and last but not least, continued to love, support and embrace Grace for who she is!
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
