I'm walking 10k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

Hey everyone! I’ve done a few charity walks for causes close to my heart, and I just came across this one that I really need to get behind. As a parent of a neurodiverse kid and with family members who are also neurodiverse, this cause truly resonates with me. Plus, I’m already racking up steps after school with my son, so why not make them count for something great?

I’m stepping up to Walk for Autism, and I’d love your support as I walk my own unique path for Autistic Australians and their families! Did you know that 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues because our world isn’t always autism-friendly? That’s why I’m committing to 7,000 steps a day this May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).

If you can spare a little to donate, that would be amazing! Your contribution will help deliver vital services that support Autistic individuals in living their best lives. The funds raised will go towards earlier diagnoses, autism-specific schooling for kids, research, and creating more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

But hey, no pressure at all—these times are tough, and I completely understand if you can’t chip in. Thank you so much for considering supporting my Walk for Autism! :)
