I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

Hi 👋 I’m B I’m 12 and I have autism.

This is my superpower 🦸‍♂️

Being autistic doesn’t mean it I have an illness or disease it means my brain thinks differently to other people.

I was diagnosed while I was very young. It is something I was born with.

Autism is more common than most people think. It is hard for me to live in a Neurotypical environment.

I have received a lot of therapy when I was young to help me talk, watch for cues and learn to adapt to different situations and environments.

Sometimes this is difficult for me to cope or understand. My mum helps me a lot.

When things get to hard or I get overwhelmed I stim. My stimming behaviour looks like walking around in a specific area repeatedly to cope with sensory overload.

I’m quite social and will go up to people to see if they want to play. I don’t judge anyone.

My mum is social butterfly 🦋 so I have learnt to be one too.

I would love you to join myself and my family to join my walking group.

Team Bronson

We are walking to raise awareness and support for people living with autism.

Please share or join my team to help me spread awareness and support to those affected by autism.

If you can’t join my team please donate.

I’m walking with my family and my dog Miah.

Thanku B

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
