I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism this year!
I was diagnosed as a teenager after years of feeling different, overwhelmed and not quite understood. Getting that diagnosis changed my life. It gave me understanding, clarity and self compassion, but it also shows how hard the world is when it isn’t built with Autistic people in mind.
Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience severe mental health challenges.
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best lives. Funds raised can help families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling and help create more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
