We’re walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
We’re stepping up to Walk for Autism for someone we love 💙
This May, we’re committing to 7000 steps a day — which might not sound like much… until you realise that’s 7000 steps evvverrryyy single day. Our legs may question our life choices, but our hearts are very sure about this one.
Autism is part of our world every single day, and we’re walking to help create a future that’s more understanding, inclusive and supportive — not just for our daughter, but for all Autistic Australians and their families.
Because the world isn’t always autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges. That’s something we can all help change.
So we’re lacing up, stepping out, and probably complaining about sore calves — all to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).
Funds raised help provide:
• Earlier diagnosis and intervention
• Autism-specific schooling
• Family support
• Research
• More inclusive, autism-friendly communities
If you’re able to donate, we’d be so grateful. Every dollar helps make the world a little kinder and more supportive for someone we love.
Thank you for cheering us on (and possibly sending blister bandaids) 💙
