Orion Psychology is walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
Orion Psychology was founded on a simple but powerful belief: neurodivergent individuals deserve care that is not just accessible, but deeply respectful, affirming, and meaningful.
At Orion, we specialise in supporting autistic individuals, ADHDers, and those with complex developmental and trauma histories across the lifespan. Our approach is grounded in neurodiversity-affirming practice, moving away from “fixing” differences and instead focusing on understanding, connection, and authentic support.
We recognise that many individuals—especially those diagnosed later in life—have spent years feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or “not quite right.” Orion exists to change that narrative. We create spaces where people feel seen, where their experiences are validated, and where support is tailored to who they actually are—not who they’re expected to be.
Our work is guided by strong ethical foundations, trauma-informed care, and a commitment to integrity in everything we do—from clinical practice through to how we show up in the community.
Participating in the Step Up for Autism Walk is an extension of our mission. It’s about visibility, advocacy, and standing alongside the autistic community—not just as clinicians, but as allies. We believe in a future where acceptance replaces tolerance, and where every neurodivergent person is supported to thrive on their own terms.
