Arlo’s Army – Walking for Autism
This May we’re taking part in Walk for Autism as Arlo’s Army, walking in support of our son Arlo, who was diagnosed with Autism (ASD Level 2) and ADHD.
Arlo is the most brilliant, funny and determined little person, and like many Autistic children he experiences the world in his own unique way. We’re walking to raise awareness, celebrate neurodiversity, and help create a world that better understands and supports Autistic people.
Did you know that 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health challenges, largely because the world is not always autism-friendly?
That’s why Arlo’s Army is committing to 7,000 steps every day in May to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).
Funds raised help provide:
• Earlier autism diagnosis
• Autism-specific education and supports
• Research that improves outcomes
• More inclusive, autism-friendly communities
Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference for Autistic people and their families.
Thank you so much for supporting Arlo’s Army 💙
