I’m stepping up with our school for a more inclusive world! Will you support us?
I’m stepping up with Aspect South Coast School to help create a more inclusive world, and I’d really appreciate your support.
As many of you know, my son is on the autism spectrum and attends this incredible school. The support, care, and specialised environment they provide makes a real difference in his life and the lives of so many other families like ours.
This May, we’re taking part in Walk for Autism and aiming to complete 7,000 steps a day to raise funds. The money raised will go towards autism-specific education and sensory resources, helping create supportive spaces where kids can feel safe, engaged, and able to thrive.
Autism is part of everyday life for many Australian families, and because the world isn’t always designed with neurodiversity in mind, many people on the spectrum face additional challenges, including higher rates of mental health struggles. Initiatives like this help create more understanding, acceptance, and opportunity.
There’s absolutely no expectation to donate, and I don’t want anyone to feel obligated, but if you’re in a position to support, any contribution (big or small) will genuinely make a difference.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and for any support you can give.
