Why Walk? Aspect Principal Joanne Tisdell
Walk for autism challenges participants to take 10,000 steps a day for eight days while raising vital funds for people of all ages on the autism spectrum. It is a virtual event, which means you can take part at any time, place and pace that suits you. You can take on the challenge solo, or set up a team. An estimated one in every 70 people in Australia is on the autism spectrum. It is likely that you know someone, perhaps a family member, friend, workmate – even a student.
Walk for autism not only raises funds and awareness for our Aspect schools but brings together the incredible community we are part of. Register to Walk for autism and join our community in support of the wonderful students and dedicated staff across all nine Aspect schools.
